So-called “friend”…

A friend is someone whom you should find encouragement from, but there are just some fools who do not deserve to be considered as friends.

I LOATHE people who burst bubbles and question every goal you aim for just to put you down or just to prove that they’re way better than you.

You’re so naive. You neither know nor understand anything - especially about me. So it’d be better if you just shut your trap.

HS student: what are you majoring in anyway

JV: English/Linguistics

HS student: i see. and you’re gonna get a job at the library im assuming with that sort of degree?

JV: no. pssshh. i’m going to Law

HS student: ah. so you’re not going to have al life for like ten years due to law school then. and by then you’ll be a serious lawyer who just wants to talk about politics

JV: by then, i’d have more money than you so you can disparage me right now. we’ll see who’ll be talking

HS student: nope. with the recession nobody wants to hire lawyers

JV: with that degree, i can basically apply for anything

HS student: yea but it won’t be well paid. probably a paralegal or something

JV: i can teach English abroad, too. so i have a lot of options

HS student: i, on the other hand, am going into engineering which is a job that has always been demanded and you get payed well with just a bachelors.

JV: yeah. you’re lucky you’re an engineer since you don’t even have to spell words right - especially basic words like paid

HS student: yea that’s what i meant. i got a four on my ap english language test thank you very much. besides chattting and texting dont count

JV: and yet your spelling is like that. yeah. that proves a lot

HS student: you know what don’t sound right? lawyers getting paid a lot of money to twist the truth and create injustices like with OJ

JV: you know what’s not right? people being exploited by a lot of people who can basically buy their way out of courts, and people who can’t find justice because of powerful people

HS student: you know what’s not right? playing the ouiji board

—end rant—
